This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies Simple But Needed, Inc. uses on sbnsoftware.com, what each one is for, and how you can change your choice. It applies to every page of the site, including the blog and the help centre.
Your choice
If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or we cannot tell where you are visiting from, we ask the first time you visit whether we may use statistics and marketing technologies. Nothing in those two groups is loaded until you say yes. If you deny, or do not answer, the site works in full and those technologies stay off. Everywhere else, statistics and marketing are on from your first visit and you can switch either off at any time; if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, marketing starts off.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Use the button below, or the Privacy Options link at the foot of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as agreeing. When you switch a group off, we delete its cookies from this site and stop loading it.
Your choice is kept for six months. After that, or if this policy changes in a way that affects your choice, we ask again.

Statistics

Statistics and marketing technologies are loaded through Google Tag Manager, which itself is loaded only after you allow at least one of the two groups.
The record of your choice
So that we can show that we asked, we keep a record of each choice: your consent ID, the date and time, the policy version, what you allowed, the country your request came from, and a fingerprint of the wording you were shown. We do not keep your IP address with it. Records are deleted after two years.
Your consent ID is shown in Privacy Options. To see or erase the records held against it, send the ID to info@simplebutneeded.com.
Enquiry forms
If an ad brought you to the page where you send us a form, the ad click ID in the page address is sent with your enquiry. This uses no cookie and no storage on your device. How we handle the details you send is described in our Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies in your browser
Your browser can also block or delete cookies for any site. If you block all cookies, your privacy choice here cannot be remembered and you will be asked again on each visit.
