Safety is a critical component of any laboratory.  To keep employees safe and to be able to demonstrate a compliant workplace, SBN has created laboratory management software on a mobile platform.  Clipboard, pen and paper are no longer needed.  Employees can simply carry a mobile device into a lab, select the appropriate inspection checklist and complete the checklist on the spot.

SBN has also embedded lab tracking software or laboratory inventory software which allows the user to track chemical containers, equipment and tools, supplies and any other item they may wish to track. 

How Our Laboratory Inventory Software and Lab Tracking Works

Users can enter inventoried items into a custom database and assign attributes to each item.  This can be done from a computer or from a mobile device.  Using the mobile device, they can scan the item or look it up by a specific identifier and review and edit attribute information as needed.  For example, a bottle of ethanol needs to be tracked.  The user would assign a unique identifier to this bottle and identify the attributes (owner, location, type of container, etc.).  In the field, if this container was scanned, the user would be able to see and edit this information.  It can be marked for disposal as hazardous waste, or if low, a reminder to order more can be sent.
