What does disposing of an asset do?

Disposing of an asset will remove that asset from the active asset list. This essentially pulls the asset from all views and data exports going forward. Disposing is similar to deleting; however, if a disposed asset is scanned in the future, it can be undisposed and returned to the active asset list. This is helpful since sometimes an asset may be displaced and found later.
