How does an exception relate to an asset?

Exceptions are the action items within SBN. Sometimes they are called corrective actions, work orders, remediation items, or suggestions, but the gist is the same in all cases. These exceptions are issues that warrant tracking for one reason or another and generally require follow-up action in order to resolve the issue.

Exceptions can vary from needing to replace chemicals or fill a fire extinguisher, but the common thread is that there is an issue that needs to be resolved.
